Draftsperson

Established manufacturing / construction company in St Louis.  Every project is engineered to order and built according to specifications.

We are currently looking for a Draftsperson skilled in Solidworks to join our team.

Essential Duties

• Create construction drawings, 3D models, and electrical schematics

• Produce timely and accurate drawings in accordance with company standards and customer specifications

• Work together with all departments to provide excellent customer experience

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or combination of education and work experience in a similar position and/or discipline. BS Degree preferred. Skillful in SolidWorks 3D software. 5 years' experience in drafting required.

• Strong computer skills including knowledge of: SolidWorks, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (VBA experience a plus), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and ACT!

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to determine alternate project scopes.
